We offer you the possibility of taking a tour that you may have dreamed about at one time or another. Spain is a country with many faces. A mysterious and contradictory land where history is expressed among heroic deeds and tragedy. The people of this country were able to defend Christianity with many centuries of war. It is a land of great discoveries and ever-lasting traditions. A land inhabited by a hospitable and life-loving people. Our tour will give you the opportunity of getting to know Barcelona, the capital of Modernism, and Toledo, the "Crown of Spain and light of the whole world" as they used to call this medieval capital of Spain. Plus Valencia and Madrid, the latter a modern capital with countless artistic collections. You'll enjoy Andalusia, one of the most picturesque provinces of Spain, where the fusion of different cultures has created such unique pearls as Seville, Córdoba, and Granada, with Arab palaces and medieval castles and cathedrals that surpass the imagination of any visitor. Our tour will take you through the picturesque roads of Castilla La Mancha, where the memory of the ingenious nobleman Don Quixote is still alive. We'll have you feel all the passion of Spanish flamenco, and taste the exquisite flavours of Spain's famous wines, together with that of its extraordinary traditional cuisine. |
This is an unforgettable trip through Spain's three most important cities: Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. You'll enjoy the fabulous beauty of the Spanish capital, where the saying used to be "from Madrid to the Heavens". The meaning of this popular saying will be made very clear when observing the majestic buildings, old palaces and monasteries in downtown Madrid. You will also find the city's charm when you go through the maze of its ancient streets and alleys, losing yourself in the infinity of its taverns and wine shops that seem to be open 24 hours a day... Madrid is a large modern metropolis, the political and financial centre of Spain. It is one of the most attractive cities in Europe, and one of the richest when it comes to the countless artistic treasures contained in its famous museums, El Prado, the Thyssen-Bornemisza, the Royal Palace and the Escorial. Madrid, just like Paris, is well worth a mass. With complete reason, and without incurring into exaggeration, Barcelona can be said to be the most European city in Spain, which throughout its history has always felt attracted to the northern neighbour of France. The fusion of all Mediterranean cultures and civilizations is perhaps better expressed here than in any other city in Spain. You'll get to know the modern and ancient Barcelona, you'll see the masterpieces of the great Gaudí, whose boundless fantasy will make your encounter with Barcelona one that is unforgettable. On the outskirts of Barcelona you'll visit two cities: Figueras and Gerona. In Figueras you may be somewhat shocked by the Salvador Dalí Theatre-Museum, but in Gerona you'll have a chance to recover your emotional state of mind when contemplating the medieval sobriety of the numerous monuments of this friendly city that was the centre of an important Jewish community. Valencia, the great produce garden of Spain, is a famous agricultural centre of citrus and rice plantations. It is "the land of the flowers of light and love", as the famous paso doble by José Padilla says. In this third Spanish city, the past and the present have intermingled in a very peculiar way. And you'll witness that for yourself when seeing the medieval buildings in the old quarters and the ultra modern City of the Arts and Sciences which, although built very recently, has already become one of the city's biggest attractions. |
DON'T you feel like going back to medieval times, even if only for
a while? And everywhere: We are sure you don't know this part of Spain, yet!!! |
This tour will take you to the north of Spain, where the road goes through the rocky shores of the Bay of Biscay, open to the winds of the Atlantic which are suddenly quieted in the picturesque bays of heavenly beaches. The northern ports were true diamonds of Spain's imperial crown, a symbol of the might of the great naval power that Spain was at the time. We invite you to travel through the Pilgrim's tour until reaching the tomb of Santiago apostle, the first missionary of Christianity in Spain. Christians throughout Europe have been making the journey on the road to Santiago for over 10 centuries now, to worship the Apostle's relics located in Galicia, in Santiago de Compostela. Our itinerary will take you through historical sites of great scenic beauty, where the Reconquest began, and where the first emersions of the Spanish nation arose. Today, the Road to Santiago in its entire length, has been declared Heritage of Humanity by the UNESCO. Cantabria is a mountainous land, the superb scenery of which amazes the imagination of every traveller, to whom the incredible beauty of this region appears to be somewhat unreal. Asturias, birthplace of the Reconquest, where the Duke of Pelayo defeated the Moors for the first time, and re-established the monarchy. Galicia, a land of fishermen and bold seafarers. Our tour will provide you with the opportunity to get to know cities such as León and Burgos, ancient centres of the Reconquest and home to medieval monuments of great historical and artistic value. |
We invite you to an unforgettable trip through Spain's biggest cities. You will see all the splendour of the Spanish capital, the dazzling brilliance and luxury of its royal palaces, where internationally important works of art are housed, and where the old Spanish proverb "From Madrid to heaven" takes on its full meaning. But Madrid does not only means famous museums and monuments - the Prado, Escorial, Thyssen-Bornemiza museum... Madrid's charm is in its ancient streets, where picturesque wine cellars and "ham museums" are waiting for you, along with many restaurants and taverns, where people dance flamenco. Inhabitants of Madrid are charming, lively, cheerful people, hospitable with all of guests in the Spanish capital. Like Paris, Madrid is a really exceptional city. The elegance and refinement of Barcelona's image turned it into the capital of European Modernism, whose greatest achievements are the works of Antonio Gaudi. Notes |
Without a doubt, this is the king of the White Coast festivals. It is a sort of "Fire Festival", the origins of which are probably pagan and date back to those remote times when carpenters used to burn the debris leftover from their work in bonfires called fallas. Later on, crude dolls with a certain satirical intention were made. These figures became more complicated and enriched until currently reaching extraordinary dimensions and varied motifs, by way of which the Valencians reveal their decorative and boundless sense of imagination. The schedule of festivals -bullfights, parades, dances- culminates during the night of March 19 with La Cremá, the burning of the bonfires under magnificent fireworks. You can be one of the participants of these famous festivals in Spain by embarking upon this journey with us, provided that you equip yourself with a good humour, flares and lots of firecrackers. In addition to Valencia, which will captivate you with its boundless joy, its hospitable and congenial people, you'll get to know Madrid and Barcelona, where an extensive programme of cultural tours awaits you. |
On this tour you'll get to know two countries, Spain and Portugal, that share a common geographic and historical vicinity, but that are at the same time different in regard to customs and architecture. If you are a connoisseur of Spain, on this tour you'll be able to see other regions of Spain that will amaze you for their scenery, houses and customs. Segovia with its Roman aqueduct, the Extremaduran region with its large farms and its relaxing landscape, Mérida with its Roman theatre, and we also highlight Cuenca, a unique city that seems to have risen from a fairy tale, what with its "hanging houses". And on another note, Portugal, a country always open to the diverse civilizations that have left monumental and artistic values, also a country of pioneers in the opening of maritime routes to India, South America and China. To be noted are the diverse monasteries declared to be a Heritage of Humanity, Porto, the city where the famous wine with the same name comes from. Coimbra, where Europe's most ancient university is located. We will finally end in the legendary city of Lisbon, the country capital that is surrounded by royal castles. |
